DIRECTIONS TO DESIGNS WEST INTERIORS
From Interstate 84, from the East: Take City Center Exit to Interstate 184, take Exit 2 (Curtis Ave). Take a left on Curtis (After Chinden Blvd, Curtis becomes Veteran's Memorial Parkway). Take another left on State Street. We are approximately 1.7 miles west on the right hand side of State Street.
Coming from the west end of the Valley? Take Eagle Rd Exit off Interstate 84, turn left and remain on Eagle Rd. (approx. 6 miles), crossing the Boise River. From Eagle Rd you will turn right onto State St. and once you pass Peirce Park, watch for us on the left side of the road. We share our entrance with FarWest Nursery.
Designs West Interiors, a family owned business, began in the Plantation Shopping Center at Glenwood and State Street in 1980. Owners, Leonard and Verna Ridley were determined to have a "full service" business for people building homes. As times and preferences evolved, we became more of an interior design service and furniture store specializing in custom window treatments and bedding.
We are located in a beautiful new 13,500 square foot building at 5710 W. State Street. Thirty years in Boise has allowed us to accumulate an impressive list of clients and references. We have the finest staff in the Treasure Valley, most of whom have been with us at least 10 years. They are great, conscientious people. Mark, our master installer, has had his drill in his hand for nearly 26 years.
The finest custom drapery workroom in the Valley is conveniently located right on our premises. This allows us to tailor your special window treatments and bedding specifically for you!
With our new store, we have added an incredible selection of furniture, lamps, pictures, accessories ... just to name a few. We also have a newly expanded floral department where you can pick and choose your ingredients for a custom floral arrangement made by one of our talented designers. Or purchase them and make your own!
